Even build trains, tracks, trucks, and roads...theres so much to do in Simutrans!
If you love games like Transport Tycoon Deluxe or Sim City, then its time bring out the hardcore tycoon gamer in you and play Simutrans!
Its absolutely FREE too! No ads, no nags!
Tips on playing:
- Simutrans is very deep and involved tycoon game. Theres a Wiki based manual in several languages located at: http://wiki.simutrans.com/
- To scroll around the map view, swipe two fingers (multitouch).
Feedback is critical:
- Visit http://www.zodttd.com and be sure to leave feedback on Simutrans.
- As this is based on the PC version, there are user interface elements that are difficult to tap. This is a known issue and is being worked on.
More graphics:
- I will be adding more graphic sets to Simutrans in updates.
- Have a favorite graphics "pak" from Simutrans for the desktop? Let me know and I will consider it for an update!
Thanks,
ZodTTD
Note 1: I am working hard at an update to make tapping smaller user interface items easier.
Note 2: The right to bring this title to AppStore has been obtained by the original authors of Simutrans. Sourcecode available at: http://github.com/zodttd/simutrans/tree/master
Pros and cons of Simutrans app for iPhone and iPad
Simutrans app good for
I dont know why everybody is complaining about, its awesome for an free app. U people should thank for making a great free app. But only problem is bigger buttons and better instructions. Update plz
This is the best game the Appstore has to offer. I have been playing this for months now. It took some time to understand it, but to those who say they want help, theres the little question mark in the upper left corner. Ever wondered what that is. To those who still dont see it I dont know what to say, except that theyre obviously blind. Small buttons? No problem. After playing a little you get use to it. Those who say that everything is too small have no patience. Of course you dont understand everything in a flash the minute you open the application, but you have to learn. Plus theres beginner mode. Overall, I think its extremely underrated. And if you dont like it, it was F-R-E-E. If you paid, that would have been different. This is just about the only game I play now, and Ive just about never gotten bored with it. And I only worked on one map. And there are over 1000 different maps in total. I could easily live with this being the only game in the appstore. Too bad the Appstore doesnt have more games like this.
Terribly FUN! Awesome! You dont get what you pay for in this game. You get more. FREE! Awesome game. Cope with the faults cause its free.. Seriously. Get this app.
Please take the time to make the sizes and all more "iPod Friendly". That would make it a 5 star app!
this game is quite nice i got used pressing those small buttons...pls update this app asap to make it better because there is still missing stuff in it...
give this guy a break he was trying to port a 90s classic pc game to ipod
besides hes not doing anything hes hiatused
Some bad moments
crashes directly on startup. Splashscreen appears for 1-2 seconds.
So this game would be so good if it wasnt so hard to operate srsly.
Itneeds to be alot bigger
You need a keyboard to play the game properly. It needs to be designed for the iPod touch / iPhone, not the computer!
To all of you who are giving this game good reviews- mind letting me in on how you managed to mainpulate the tiny controls? This looks like it would be a LOT of fun.
Its so hard to control, and I have absolutely no idea how to control or play the game. If anyone could make it more clear that would be great but otherwise I wouldnt waste my time.
Its great game but if they could make the buttons bigger it would help slot.
